1. About LangCert
LangCert is an online English proficiency testing platform that allows candidates to assess their language skills and receive a recognised certificate upon completion.
LangCert is available to users globally.
2. Eligibility
To use LangCert, you must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
- Use the platform only for lawful purposes
By using LangCert, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration
To use LangCert, you must create an account by providing:
- A valid email address
- A secure password
- Your phone number
- Country and city
- Identity verification details (as described below)
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials secure
- All activity that occurs under your account
LangCert is not responsible for unauthorised access caused by user negligence.
4. Identity Verification
To ensure test integrity, prevent fraud, and maintain certificate authenticity, LangCert requires:
- A selfie photo holding your ID
- A photo of a valid government-issued ID (e.g. passport, national ID card, or driving licence)
These are used strictly for:
- Identity verification
- Fraud prevention
- Certificate authenticity
By using LangCert, you consent to this verification process.
5. Tests, Retakes & Certification
- Users may take a test as many times as they choose.
- Each test attempt requires a separate payment.
- Test results and certificates are issued after successful completion.
- Certificates do not expire.
- Certificates do not guarantee:
- Employment
- University admission
- Visa approval
- Immigration outcomes
LangCert only certifies language proficiency based on test performance.
6. Payments & Pricing
- All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
- LangCert does not store payment card details.
- Pricing may vary by region/country.
- Once a test has been taken, no refunds are provided.
- In exceptional cases, refunds may be considered case-by-case at LangCert’s discretion.
7. Account Suspension or Termination
LangCert reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if users:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Attempt to bypass identity verification
- Engage in fraud or misuse of the platform
- Violate these Terms
Termination may occur without prior notice in serious cases.
8. Data Usage & Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

- Data is securely stored in the EU region
- Users may request account deletion by contacting help@langcert.com
- Some data may be retained where legally required

- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the platform.

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with European Union (EU) law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
